SOURCE-BACKED FEE NOTICE

Amazon India closing-fee notice: what to recheck

A short reading guide to Amazon India’s closing-fee notice and the price-band and fulfilment details sellers should verify in the current official rate card.

Reviewed 2 November 2026 · Notice effective date: 7 September 2026.

Read the effective date first

Amazon India’s official fees page describes a closing-fee revision for FC, Easy Ship and Seller Flex. It states an increase of ₹1 for products priced up to ₹500 and ₹3 above ₹500, effective 7 September 2026. Check the current table and your applicable channel before using the notice in costing.

A dispatch-team checklist

  • Record the product’s correct category and selling-price band.
  • Confirm the fulfilment channel before comparing fees.
  • Check the current seller dashboard for the charge applied to a recent order.
  • Separate the fee update from changes in packaging, returns or advertising costs.

Keep the label workflow separate from costing

Your shipping PDF still needs its own print-size, barcode and order checks. A fee notice does not tell you which printer setting to use. Use the Amazon label tool for document preparation and the official seller reports for fee verification.
